I enabled SSH, downloaded putty and WinSCP and am not able to log into either root or admin though either of those programs. ![]() I found several nice references on the web (which are listed in the end) but all of them seemed to be missing a thing or two, so I decided this complete walkthrough for my future self and also for anyone interested. This guide is for Windows and using SSH via PuTTY.It’s possible to login of course just using a standard username/password combination with Mosh or SSH at the command line. ![]() ![]() ![]() For this my team uses Cygwin, a Linux-like environment for Windows making it possible to port software running on POSIX systems (such as Linux, BSD, and Unix systems) to Windows.
